Atomcollectorrecords.com is a site for musicians by musicians. It’s free to join and really is a must for independent musicians struggling to get their music heard. I can tell you that it has helped my music achieve more plays, more likes and comments, not to mention inquiries for collaborations and music licensing requests. And I haven’t spent a red cent on promotion! All I have to do is listen and for each listen (minimum 60 seconds) I earn a credit which I can use to set up more plays for my tunes in the system. What’s more, atomcollectorrecords (ACR) is social media savvy, so you can vote, make comments and post likes for stuff on Twitter and Facebook.
Currently, ACR links with Soundcloud, Bandcamp, YouTube, Reverbnation, Spotify and Fanburst. So if you have music on one or more of these platforms all you have to do is stick in your song links and you’re good to go. Don’t forget you’ll have to listen to earn credits for your tunes. As I write this, I am listening to a great selection of stuff from Bandcamp.com. Of course, not everything you listen to will be your cup of tea, but just hit ‘next’ to refresh your ears. You can even narrow down what you listen to by choosing to only play Jazz for example.

I am a big fan of ACR because I’ve been able to listen to artists (and even connect with them) that I would never have heard otherwise. And all the while, my music is getting played.
